Courtney and Andre recently celebrated their one year wedding anniversary! The day the love poured as heavy as the rain. Now it’s par for the course for me to tear up at weddings. The usual culprits are bride walking down the aisle, vows, and toasts. But, my emotions were a bit extra on this day. I learned so much about love, appreciation, and vulnerability on a deeper level.
It’s been a year since I heard their vows and I still remember Andre reading his to Courtney. He turned to her family and said, “Don’t worry. I’ve got her now.” His tone conveying this sentiment and promise in the most genuine way possible.
These two love each other, their two amazing kids and their families in such a big way. The way they look at one another, how they don’t hold back, and the obvious care and appreciation is on another level.
