Nestled in the upper northwest corner of Washington, the Olympic National Park is home to many different stunning terrains and ecosystems.
From the lush Hoh Rainforest to the wild Pacific Coast to the rugged glacier-capped mountains, Olympic National Park offers something for every couple on their elopement day!
Elyssa and Nick reached out to us almost a year before their elopement. These two love to adventure together and explore all the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer. After talking through options from Mt. Rainier National Park to the North Cascades National Park and everywhere in between, we found that the Olympic National Park was exactly what they were looking for!
We began their adventure hike in an incredibly timeless old-growth forest!
As we meandered through the the mossy oaks, we thought about how lucky we were that the weather turned out to be so perfect! The trail was in great shape and everyone was super excited for the happy couple’s big day! They both got many congratulations and compliments on the way up.
As we made our way out of the switchbacks, we came to the final stretch of the hike before reaching the summit!
Just below the summit, was the perfect area for the two to change, along with their officiant, Billy, (Nick’s cousin!) that joined us on the adventure as well.
Once Elyssa and Nick we’re ready to go, we found a cozy little area with gorgeous light streaming through the dense trees, for their first look!
After their first look, we may the final stretch up over the ridge to the summit where we were met with incredible sunshine pouring down onto the soon-to-be newlyweds!
The lighting was magical and made us wish golden hour lasted for a few hours! Elyssa and Nick had a beautiful intimate ceremony followed by bride and groom photos at the summit until the sun went down. What an incredible adventure we all had together!
